Description
At the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans, the #23 car was piloted by Reinhold Joest and Willi Kauhsen, and performed well in qualifying. During the actual race, the team was running in third place by the halfway mark, but sadly they were forced to retired before the end due to brake failure. This would be the Pink Pig’s first and last competitive race. Solido has produced an exquisite model that captures the essence of the original racecar but reimagined in a RWB custom build. Produced in 1:18, this diecast replica features a RWB wide-body kit, deep-dish wheels with Porsche branded brake calipers, and dual rear exhaust tips. Also includes opening doors that reveal a highly detailed racing interior complete with bucket seats, roll cage, and Porsche branded steering wheel. The Porsche Pig Pink remains one of the most recognizable racing livery designs in history, so don’t miss out on your chance to bring home the bacon. Size: 10"
